Volleyball England Assistant Coach Award, SideOut Leyton 2024

In March 2024, we hosted the Volleyball England’s ‘Assistant Coach Award’ course at SideOut Leyton.
This was an entry-level course covering the fundamentals of coaching volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball and was suitable for anyone aspiring to be a coach.

31 new coaches qualified!

In October 2023, our 3rd FIVB Beach course in Athens was a resounding success. Instructors and coaches collaborated seamlessly in a fantastic atmosphere on and off the court, with everyone enjoying the exchange of ideas and sharing a wealth of knowledge.

FIVB courses return to the sand!

After hosting several online courses during the Covid pandemic, we were back on the sand again in November 2022 with 25 coaches from 7 different countries joining us in Athens.
We were also honoured to be joined by Javier Bosma who returned to the city where he won his 2004 Olympic silver medal.

FIVB courses go online!

We partnered with Volleyball England to host the country’s first ever FIVB Beach Volleyball Coaching Course.
Due to the Covid pandemic, the course was held online over 10 days, and despite not being face-to-face with everyone, it was amazing to share so much time with so many passionate and knowledgeable participants from all over the world!

Our first course in Cyprus!

With 35 coaches from 12 different countries engaging in collaborative learning and knowledge-sharing, all under the watchful eyes of instructors Vangelis Koutouleas and Dr. Athanasios Papageorgiou, our first ever course in Cyprus was an incredible success!
